About Obituaries: Because The Free Press circulation area is so large - from Wiscasset all along the coast to Searsport - we are unable to print obituaries in the weekly print edition because of space limitations. In our online site, we will include obituaries received from funeral homes in our area. Funeral homes are welcome to email obituaries to us. Individuals wishing to place a paid "In Memoriam" notice in the print edition may do so by calling our Classified Department at 596-6696.
